Lorene Holmberg (Lori) it is my best friend here. She has the kindest heart I ever known, she is truly compassionate and helps me a lot in very difficult situations. I know she helps many people in this town. She is always there when you need her. It is there for her mother in law, it is there for all her nephews and nieces, and for friends that need that extra hug because they are away from home. She even helps a friend in another country. Thunder Bay would not be the same without her friendly smile. She does not judge, if she can, she just helps, that is why I feel she deserve this award.
