through friends they always cared about
and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days,
in words of wisdom we still carry with us
and memories that never will be gone.

When God was making Mothers
He must have made a fuss
He spent a lot of time on one
And gave that one to us.
Of all the gifts in life
However great or small,
To have you as our Mother
Was the greatest gift of all.
Because you were so special
