Job Title: Compensation Analyst

The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board is searching for a Compensation Analyst to join our Finance team based in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Compensation Analyst will be the centre of expertise in ensuring the delivery of a bi-weekly payroll, the administration of pension and benefit programs, and compensation plans and policies. The successful candidate will maintain the data integrity of Dayforce HCM through routine audits, entry, and updates for accuracy and functionality.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Completion of Post-Secondary education majoring in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration
• Possess a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificate/designation
• Active member of the Canadian Payroll Association
• Minimum four years payroll processing and payroll management experience
• Experience working with payroll solutions software, preferably Ceridian Dayforce HCM

The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate in an effective and tactful manner, organize their time to meet or exceed stringent deadlines, work independently and engage with others as a subject matter expert as required.

District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board offers a competitive compensation package, extensive benefit and pension programs, and a 35-hour work week.
