Job Requirements
• Completion of Secondary School plus vocational trades courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
• Previous experience in building maintenance and with HVAC systems, with demonstrated skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting.
• Ability to diagnose problems and relate them to trades people 
• Physically able to routinely lift 25-50 pounds, and to move items in and out of vehicles and up and down stairs
• Physically able to climb ladders
• Physically able to shovel snow by hand 
• Strongly committed to workplace health and safety, and can demonstrate knowledge of safe lifting and safe use of ladders
• Professional demeanor when representing CAS in community
• Ability to maintain daily work logs
• Ability to work flexible hours, and to travel to CAS District Offices in Nipigon, Marathon or Geraldton as may be required from time to time
• Access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed); safe driving record and valid G Driver’s License
• Upon offer of employment, a Current Criminal Records deemed satisfactory to the employer 

Job Description
General property maintenance services including minor property repairs, moving equipment and supplies, setting up meeting rooms, maintaining orderly mechanical and storage rooms, snow shovelling, and arranging and overseeing external contractor repairs and maintenance. Each incumbent will be assigned up to 15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours from time to time (e.g., if one of the incumbents is absent, or if there is a major project to be undertaken).
