To the editor:
On behalf of the Bay and Algoma Business Association I would like to thank the Menei Brothers Construction Company for a job well done.
It was a huge job and took all summer and fall to complete. But, the street looks great! Their crews were on the job early, and regularly worked late – and were always communicative and helpful.
Thanks also to the city, for hiring a local company that obviously took pride in their work. City engineers John Coceancic and Brian Newman responded quickly and reasonably to our many requests, thus making our street closure easier to deal with.
Bay and Algoma already was a wonderful shopping area, featuring local food, clothing, gifts, entertainment, dining, and much more. Now, thanks to the Menei Brothers and the city, it really looks the part.
