To the editor:

The 29 year-old woman involved in a truck crash earlier this week is my daughter.

I have been told that one of the cars passing by was an off duty EMS worker who stopped and knew what to do with her until the ambulance arrived.

I just want to thank this person with all mine and my family’s heart for what he did for her.
He may have saved her life.

She is still not out of the woods, but we are hoping that she will pull through.

Once again I want to thank this person from the bottom of my heart that you were there for my daughter.

Debbie McCooeye,
Thunder?Bay
