To the editor:
It was interesting to read that our city council has just declared a climate emergency in order to fight climate change.
Yet shortly it will be forcing every long haul trucker traveling east or west to use additional fuel thereby adding to Canada's climate problem.
If climate action in planning is to be treated as a serious obligation, then our council has a moral responsibility to cancel the bylaw.
