Thank you, Travis McDougall of Truckers for Safer Highways.
I thank you for the information regarding new drivers. At one time I always felt safe when there were transport drivers around me because they all seemed such good drivers and were so friendly and as the need arose very helpful.
Alas in the last three decades or so those same big trucks brought fear to my mind because I saw so many, many dangerous manoeuvres and generally road rude drivers.
Glad it wasn’t my imagination while a part of me wishes it weren’t so!
