KENORA – A northwestern Ontario resident could be in for a windfall.

A $1 million ticket from Friday's LOTTO MAX draw was sold in the Kenora/Rainy River district, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced on Saturday.

It was the largest of the day's wins, with $500,000 and $100,000 tickets sold in Kitchener and Unionville, and Burlington, respectively.
