1 new COVID-19 case in the Thunder Bay district

The active case count has fallen to four.

THUNDER BAY — There was good news Monday from the Thunder Bay District Health Unit regarding COVID-19.

TBDHU reported one new COVID-19 case in its service area, and seven previous cases resolved.

That brought the active caseload down to four, compared with 10 last Friday.

The new case is on an area First Nation.

TBDHU said the patient has no known source of exposure to the virus.

As of Monday morning, no district residents were in hospital receiving treatment for COVID-19.
