DRYDEN, Ont. – A 10-year-old Eagle Lake First Nation girl has died following a collision in Aubrey Township.
According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers responded to a motor vehicle collision Aug. 13 around 4 p.m. on Ojibway Drive.
Police say a motor vehicle, travelling eastbound left the roadway and came to rest on its roof.
The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital.
The passenger, who was been identified as Shyanna Kavanaugh of Eagle Lake First Nation was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
