13th COVID-19 case found locally

Health unit says latest victim a woman in her 40s from Thunder Bay area.

THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has confirmed a 13th COVID-19 case in the Thunder Bay area. 

The health unit on Sunday made the announcement on its Facebook page, say it's a female in her 40s in the Thunder Bay area. International travel has been listed as the exposure category and the woman has been self-isolating since March 27. 

A total of nine cases have been diagnosed in Thunder Bay, with four more in Nipigon.
