17-year-old-boy pulls knife outside of bar

Police charged a 17-year-old-boy with assault with a weapon after he allegedly pulled a knife on a bouncer. Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a fight broke out between the 17-year-old and a bouncer outside a Victoria Avenue bar on Saturday.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say a fight broke out between the 17-year-old and a bouncer outside a Victoria Avenue bar on Saturday. Police say the 17-year-old allegedly pulled a knife on the bouncer. With assistance from other employees, the boy was subdued and the knife taken away without any injuries, police say.

Police took the boy into custody and charged him with assault with a weapon, carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence and two counts of breach of probation.
