THUNDER BAY — Twelve residents of the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home in Thunder Bay have now passed away after falling ill from the COVID-19 virus.
The company announced the 12th death Tuesday morning on its website.
The 157-bed nursing home remains the epicentre of the pandemic in the Thunder Bay area.
Southbridge says there are currently 16 active COVID-19 cases involving residents, and 13 cases involving members of the staff.
The total of 29 cases is seven fewer than what was reported on Monday, when three deaths were reported among residents.
