A dozen COVID-19 patients hospitalized at TBRHSC

Hospital occupancy now at 89.9 per cent.

THUNDER BAY -- The COVID-19 count continues to climb at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. 

The hospital on Thursday announced at present there are a dozen confirmed COVID-19 cases admitted to the facility, including four who are in the intensive care unit. 

Earlier this week the hospital reopened its dedicated COVID-19 unit, which was closed in July after first being downsized from lack of use. 

The hospital's current occupancy is 89.9 per cent.
