THUNDER BAY -- City police officers responded to more than 140 significant incidents during the week of Monday, Oct. 20 through to Sunday, Oct 26

Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services. The 142 incidents recorded throughout the week does not include quality of life, property or traffic cases.

South of the Harbour Expressway, city police officers dealt with 56 significant incidents.

Those cases include:

  • 14 assaults
  • 15 break and enters
  • 2 robberies
  • 16 thefts
  • 8 thefts from vehicles


Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to 86 incidents.

Those 86 cases included:

  • 21 assaults
  • 16 break and enters
  • 1 sexual assault
  • 25 thefts
  • 18 thefts from vehicles
