THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 109 serious incidents during the week of Oct. 27 to Nov. 2.

Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services.

The more than 116 incidents recorded last week do not include quality of life, property or traffic cases.

South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to 62 significant incidents.

Those incidents included:

  • 21 Assaults
  • 2 Sexual assault
  • 7 Break and enters
  • 1 Robberies
  • 21 Thefts
  • 10 thefts from vehicles

Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to nearly 47 significant cases.

Some of the reported crimes include:

  • 16 Assaults
  • 5 Break and enters
  • 2 Sexual assaults
  • 20 Thefts
  • 4 Thefts from a vehicle
