GERALDTON, Municipality of Greenstone, Ont. — A Great Horned Owl paid an extended visit Tuesday to the Ontario Provincial Police detachment in Geraldton.
Photos of the bird were posted to the OPP Twitter account on Wednesday morning.
The owl found a perch atop the roof of a police cruiser in the detachment's parking lot.
According to the accompanying message, the bird decided it was "a great place to spend the afternoon in the sun."
