THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 130 incidents during the week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 5.
Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services. The more than 130 incidents recorded last week does not include quality of life or traffic cases.
South of the Harbour Expressway, officers deal with 11 assault cases, three robberies, two break and enters and a sexual assault. These cases are in addition to a handful of property crime cases and thefts.
Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, local police officers had their hands full with 17 assault cases, eight break and enters, six robberies and two sexual assaults.
Theft and property crimes make up the majority of the remaining 52 reported cases.
