Teen and two adults arrested during drug raid

THUNDER BAY — A home on Bethune Street was the subject of a search warrant for Thunder Bay Police. 

Emergency Task Unit officers and the K9 unit brought a search warrant to the south side home on Wednesday afternoon just before the dinner hour. 

Investigators had ongoing intelligence on the home and its possible connection to drug trafficking. 

Three people were arrested for various drug trafficking offences, including a 43 year old Thunder Bay man, a 32 year old Oshawa resident as well as a 16 year old male from Toronto 

Officers collected a quantity of suspected fentanyl, suspected crack cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. 

All three appeared in court in Thunder Bay on Thursday and will remain in custody until future court dates.
