Active COVID-19 case count falls to three in the Thunder Bay district

The district health unit reported no new cases on Monday.

THUNDER BAY — The number of active COVID-19 cases in the District of Thunder Bay has fallen to three.

The case count had reached six last Thursday. 

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced Monday that it had no new cases to report for the previous two days.

None of the three individuals currently diagnosed with COVID-19 is hospitalized.

Since the onset of the pandemic last year, there have been 3,351 confirmed cases involving residents of the city and district.
