THUNDER BAY – One man was taken to hospital following an aggravated assault early Saturday morning.
According to a release, city police dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of County Boulevard just before 5:30 a.m. to assist a 57-year-old man who was injured inside his home.
As a result of the investigation, officers found two men hiding in the residence.
A 31-year-old and a 42-year-old were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and break and enter.
Both appeared in court and have been remanded into custody.
