Airport bomb threat over, aircraft safe for departure

The Westjet aircraft involved in last night's incident at Thunder Bay International Airport has been cleared to proceed to Ottawa. The aircraft was searched this morning by the OPP with the assistance of the Thunder Bay Police Service.

The Westjet aircraft involved in last night's incident at Thunder Bay International Airport has been cleared to proceed to Ottawa.

The aircraft was searched this morning by the OPP with the assistance of the Thunder Bay Police Service.

The flight is expected to depart this afternoon for its original destination.

The investigation into the threat against the aircraft has been handed over to the RCMP.

The Thunder Bay Police Service has provided all relevant information to the RCMP to assist them in their ongoing investigation.
