A two-vehicle collision in the Edmonton area early Monday morning has left a Thunder Bay man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash took place around 3 a.m. near Fort Saskatchewan, northwest of Edmonton.
According to officials with the RCMP, a small car operated by the 23-year-old Thunder Bay man blew a stop sign and struck a taxi cab that was proceeding through the intersection.
The man's female passenger, along with the driver of the cab and two passengers, were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The name of the Thunder Bay driver was not released by police.
