Alley's Corner Variety robbed at knifepoint

Convenience store robbed for second time in a matter of weeks, suspect flees on foot.

THUNDER BAY -- A South Franklin Street convenience store was robbed at knife-point Sunday night, according to a post on the store's Facebook page. 

The owners of Alley's Corner Variety say at about 9:55 p.m. a lone male entered the store and demanded money from the till. Upon receipt of the cash the suspect fled on foot.

He's described as a Caucasian male, between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-3, with a large build and facial hair. 

The man was wearing light blue jeans, a cream coloured jacket over a red hoodie, a ball cap with a black brim, sunglasses, black gloves an sneakers. The suspect was also carrying a red and yellow duffel bag.
