THUNDER BAY -- An Amber alert for a missing eight-year-old boy in Gorham Township just outside Thunder Bay has been cancelled after he was found safe.
Provincial police requested the Amber alert late Monday morning. It was cancelled after more than an hour.
Ontario Provincial Police said an ongoing child abduction investigation is still being conducted and will provide an update.
