THUNDER BAY -- For anyone who has had enough of winter and is looking forward to summertime on the lake, the 29th annual Boat Show is now up and running.
From paddle boats and pontoons to waterskiing boats, the annual event at the CLE Coliseum has a ship for every captain.
The public is welcome to attend the event free of charge, and check out the boats and related equipment.
Coordinator Norm Willis said for those looking for a new summer toy, the winter is the time to do it.
“If you want a boat the best time to buy is in February,” Willis said.
“That’s when the dealers have special incentives to buy right now and not wait until spring…if you wait until spring you pay more money.”
The boat show will be running at the CLE Coliseum every day until Sunday.
