Several Catholic school students across the city had new coats to wear home Friday thanks to the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids campaign.
Under the program, the service club provides the new winter clothes to underprivileged children. About 125 new coats were given to children and young adults at Catholic Board Schools across the city Friday.
Knights of Columbus spokesman Joe Salini says it's a great feeling to help kids get a chance to enjoy the winter.
The Knights of Columbus has been running the program for six years.
Coats for kids will give out 150,000 coats across North America by the end of this year.
