THUNDER BAY – City residents will have to keep the shovels out this weekend, as another dumping of snow is expected to hit the region Saturday night.
Environment Canada issued another snowfall warning for the city of Thunder Bay and surrounding area. A fast moving low-pressure system will travel over the Great Lakes Saturday night.
Snow is expected to begin late in the evening and continue overnight before ending Sunday morning. Snowfall may be heavy at times with total amounts between 15 and 20 centimetres.
Visibility could be reduced on area roads and drivers are advised to exercise caution while travelling.
