THUNDER BAY -- The frantic pace of cargo shipments from the Port of Thunder Bay continued in September with totals again topping a million tonnes.
As has been the case all year long, grain made up the vast majority of that cargo, as movement of last year's massive harvest continues.
The million tonnes shipped last month brings totals for the year up to 6.1-million tonnes shipped.
That compares to 3.9-million tonnes at the same point last year, in what was then considered to be a very busy year.
