Police are looking for more information about an armed robbery that happened at Simpson Street convenience store. Thunder Bay Police Service received a call around 6 a.m. Friday about a robbery at the Mac’s Convenience Store.

Police are looking for more information about an armed robbery that happened at Simpson Street convenience store.

Thunder Bay Police Service received a call around 6 a.m. Friday about a robbery at the Mac’s Convenience Store. Police say a male entered the store while holding a knife and demanded cash.

The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and items. The male then left the store in an unknown direction.
Police describe the male as Aboriginal, about five-foot-10, thin wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and a grey neck warmer that covered his face.
