Thunder Bay Police Service officers arrested a man suspected of holding a knife to the throat of a convenience store clerk during an armed robbery.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers arrested a man suspected of holding a knife to the throat of a convenience store clerk during an armed robbery.

The 20-year-old, who police have not named, was located in a yard not far from the scene of the alleged crime, which occurred at the  Mac’s Convenience store near the corner of Victoria Avenue and Waterloo Street.

The clerk escaped with a small cut to his neck while the suspect fled with cigarettes and now faces a number of charges.
