Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery reported last week.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the arrest follows the August 2 robbery of the Mac’s store at 745 Simpson Street.
At about 9:30 p.m. on that night, a man entered the store armed with a syringe. The accused man made of with a small sum of money.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Michael Allan Hardy, 28, of Thunder Bay was arrested without incident just after midnight on Tuesday, August 6.
He is being held in custody until a future court date.
