THUNDER BAY — Police have arrested a suspect after a business was robbed at knifepoint earlier this year.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to a business in the 3100 block of Arthur Street West in Oliver Paipoonge just before midnight on April 22 after receiving reports of a robbery.
A male suspect had entered the business, brandished a knife towards a staff member, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
The continued investigation by the Break and Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit led to identifying a suspect.
The suspect was located and arrested on Thursday, July 18.
A 35-year-old of Thunder Bay is charged with Robbery and Disguise with Intent.
The accused appeared in court on Friday and has been remanded into custody with a future appearance date.
