ARMSTRONG, Ont. -- Provincial police have charged a 38-year-old Armstrong man for allegedly drunk driving an ATV through the community. 

Officers with the Armstrong detachment of the OPP received reports of a possible impaired driver around 10 p.m. on April 13, according to an OPP news release issued Tuesday.

The vehicle was located and officers spoke to the driver, who was determined to have been drinking. The driver was arrested and transported into the custody of the Thunder Bay Police Service for further testing.

Leon Nayanookeesic has been charged with care or control of a vehicle while impaired and care or control of a vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol.

The accused is to appear in Armstrong court on May 30.

The charges have not been proven in court.
