THUNDER BAY – Police are responding to a reported assault at the Midtown Inn (formerly the Shoreline Hotel). A male victim has been treated for unknown injuries by paramedics.
Police responded to an assault in progress at the hotel around 1:45 p.m. Drops of what appeared to be blood were visible on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance, along with a pair of discarded latex gloves. Five police cars were parked outside the hotel, with officers holding the scene.
