RED LAKE – An afternoon assault as resulted in charges for a 66-year-old McKenzie Island resident.
According to a Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police release, officers were advised of an assault on Friday, Dec. 10 that occurred the day before near Cochenour Docks area.
As a result of the investigation, a 66-year-old McKenzie Island resident was charged with assault and mischief under $5,000.
The 66-year-old was released by way of undertaking and appeared in court Dec. 16.
