UPDATE: Bank robber arrested in Dryden

DRYDEN, Ont. -- Dryden Police have arrested a man in connection to an attempted bank robbery on Monday.

According to Dryden Police Service media release, the man was arrested Monday night. 

The robbery took place Monday afternoon. Police said a man attempted to rob the Bank of Montreal on King Street at knife point, but left empty handed.

The suspect, who was wearing a navy blue peacoat with a black neck warmer over his face and nose, fled the bank without being given any cash.

The investigation is ongoing. .
