The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium will host its second information session about volunteering opportunities for next year’s Special Olympics.
The first of the two information sessions at the community auditorium was held Monday evening. Residents gathered in the main lobby to sign up and help with the Special Olympics.
Volunteer co-ordinator Cindy Orr said the event needs up to 500 people to work at either one of the four sporting venues or two host hotels.
A second information and sign up session will be held at the Valhalla Inn starting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
