The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium has been nominated as one of the country’s best small performing arts centres in Canada.
It’s one of eight nominees from across Canada in the under 1,500-seat capacity category at the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards, which will be handed out on Thursday in Toronto as part of Canadian Music Week.
The Auditorium, the home of the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, is up against the Capitol Centre (North Bay), the Corona Theatre (Montreal), the Imperial Theatre (Saint John, N.B.), the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (Toronto), the Rose Theatre (Brampton, Ont.), the Royal Theatre (Victoria) and the Cohn (Halifax).
