Bach’s blast powers Cats past Rox

Thunder Bay slugger has four homers this season.

THUNDER BAY -- Jordan Bach had himself a night. 

Thunder Bay Border Cats right-fielder slammed his fourth home run of the season on Thursday night, going 5-for-5 at the dish and driving  in three.

Bach's efforts helped lead the Cats  to a 9-6 win over the visiting St. Cloud Rox at Port Arthur Stadium. It was the third straight win for Thunder Bay, who improved to 9-7 on the season. 

Cameron Johnson picked up the win for the Cats, tossing 3.2 innings of four-hit, one-run ball. He came in in relief of starter Ethan Froud, who left after three innings, giving up three runs. 

Hunter Day took the loss, giving up six runs on 11 hits, chased after four innings 

Attendance was 727  

The two teams play again on Friday
