Backyard sale raising money for Ukrainian refugees

Sales takes place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Algoma Street North and Clavet Street.

THUNDER BAY – A backyard sale taking place on Saturday will benefit the people of Ukraine.

Proceeds will be used to help Ukrainian refugees escaping the war with Russia to give them a fresh start in a new home.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the unpaved parking lot at the corner of Algoma Street North and Clavet Street.

In addition to yard-sale items, there will be plenty of baked goods and Ukrainian treats for sale.
