City of Thunder Bay Media Release
September 21, 2016 – Storm sewer reconstruction at the corner of Balmoral Avenue and Central Avenue will begin on Monday, Sept. 26 and is expected to take approximately five days to complete.
The west portion of the intersection will be closed to traffic, and a detour will be posted directing motorists along Amber Drive.
Drivers travelling in the area are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
The City of Thunder Bay is investing $19.1 million on road and sidewalk rehabilitation, residential paving, sewer and watermain repair/replacement, bridge work and streetlight renewal.
