THUNDER BAY -- An annual tradition to bring films from all over the world to Thunder Bay is back for another year.
Now in its 11th year the Bay Street Film Festival, starting Wednesday with an evening opening gala, will feature 45 films from India to Sioux Lookout.
Entries from all genres, from music videos to full-length dramas, will be screened over the festival's five days.
"It's a really well-rounded line up," coordinator Dennis Dubinsky said.
There will also be 17 films from around the region.
"A really good representation of filmmakers from right here in Thunder Bay," he said.
Filmmakers will also be offering masterclass workshops throughout the weekend.
Anyone wanting to see all films can buy a pass for $25 or $8 per screening.
The festival also offers a pay-what-you-can option for those who might be low on cash. Dubinsky said they try to make it so that anyone can come out and see a film they might not be able to see anywhere else.
