GREENSTONE -- The Ontario Provincial Police has arrested a 35-year-old Duncan, British Columbia man in connection to two break-and-enter events at the same Nakina business.

Forensic indentification collected from an August break-in at a local business made the man a person of interest. The OPP said a "large sum of money" had been stolen. That evidence was corroborated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in B.C.

The same business was broken into on Dec. 10 and although nothing was reported stolen in that instance, the OPP was prepared to lay charges.

The man has been charged with two charges of Break and Enter, two charges of Mischief over $5,000, and two Breaches of a Conditional Sentence Order.

He has been remanded into custody at the Thunder Bay Jail.
