A British Columbia man has been arrested by police in that province in connection with the 2009 murder of a Thunder Bay woman.
Vancouver police arrested Alexander Lawrence Le Glace, 45, of New Westminister Wednesday morning and charged him with second-degree murder. The charge is connected to the death of 43-year old Tammy Lynne Cordone last May.
The body of the former Thunder Bay resident was discovered in a tent in West Vancouver's Lighthouse Park.
Police say that Cordone and Le Glace were known to each other, and that they believe the killing was not random.
Le Glace is being held in custody pending his first appearance in a BC courtroom Thursday.
