With the Labour Day weekend approaching, the Canada Border Services Agency is reminding travellers to plan ahead to avoid a long wait at the border.
The CBSA says wait times could be 30 minutes or longer on Sunday night and Monday during the day.
Higher than normal traffic is also expected on Friday night and Saturday morning.
In order to avoid the wait, the agency advises crossing the border outside of those peak times.
Travellers can also speed up the process by having proper identification and receipts ready for inspection.
