Bear with arrow in back spotted in Kenora

Animal was spotted near River Drive on Monday afternoon.

KENORA, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police in Kenora say they are on the lookout for a bear with a possible arrow stuck in its back. 

In a release, police say they received a call on Monday at about 1 p.m. CDT reporting the bear near River Drive. Police responded to the call, but were unable to locate the animal. 

Police have asked the public to contact OPP if the bear in question is spotted, but not to approach the animal.
