Bearskin partnership brings back Northern service

Bearskin Airlines announced Monday a strategic partnership with Winnipeg based Perimeter Aviation to re-introduce service between Thunder Bay and several First Nations communities north of Sioux Lookout.

Bearskin Airlines Partners with Perimeter Aviation To Re-Introduce Northern Service from Thunder Bay 
 
Bearskin Airlines announced Monday a strategic partnership with Winnipeg based Perimeter Aviation to re-introduce service between Thunder Bay and several First Nations communities north of Sioux Lookout. 
 
Winnipeg based Perimeter Aviation has been linking Sandy Lake, Pikangikum and Sachigo Lake to Winnipeg for more than 10 years. Perimeter recently expanded their service to include links to Sioux Lookout at which time a partnership was struck with Bearskin Airlines to offer joint fares and connections to/from Thunder Bay.  
 
Using a single ticket, and a shared airport counter in Sioux Lookout, Bearskin and Perimeter facilitate connections between their respective flights in Sioux Lookout making the journey seamless to the passenger and more affordable. 
 
On October 24, 2016, Perimeter’s service to Sioux Lookout was expanded to include Deer Lake, Sachigo Lake, Weagamow (Round Lake) and North Spirit Lake with many of these new flights connecting to Bearskin Airlines service to/from Thunder Bay. 
 
Effective October 31, 2016, this strategic partnership will permit the purchase of leisure and business travel using a single ticket with Bearskin Airlines. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bearskinairlines.com with Bearskin Airlines, via Bearskin’s toll free reservation center  1 800 465 2327 or through any travel agency in Canada or USA or by contacting Perimeter Aviation at 1.800 665 8986. 
 
On November 7, 2016, Perimeter Aviation will add Bearskin Lake to their growing number of communities linked to Sioux Lookout and Thunder Bay-Bearskin Lake connecting service will also be introduced via this strategic partnership.
