Beer-stealing thieves sought in Dryden

Police say two suspect broke into the Beer Store on Queen Street on Monday night and made off with two cases of beer.

DRYDEN – Police in Dryden are on the hunt for a pair of thirsty thieves.

In a release issued on Tuesday morning, the Dryden Police Service says on Monday night, at about 7:30 p.m., two suspects broke into the Queen Street Beer Store and made off with two cases of suds.

The first suspect is described as a heavy-set male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a large logo on the front, black pants, a black hat and was wearing a multi-coloured style of basketball shoes.

Police believe he looked Caucasian.

The second suspect is a male of average build, who was wearing a royal blue jacket with high-visibility yellow around the collar area.

The coat also had reflective fabric on the shoulders and arms.

He was also dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, which he wore under his coat and had over his head.

The suspect had on green cargo pants, worn tight at the ankles, and large black basketball-style shoes.

He also appeared to be wearing dark gloves.

Both are facing charges of break and enter, theft and mischief once apprehended.
